Hotel Night Auditor – Now Hiring!

Are you dependable, detail-driven, and motivated to ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay? Join our team as a Hotel Night Auditor, a key overnight role combining guest service with end-of-day financial accuracy.

About the Role

Our Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service during overnight hours while completing the hotel’s daily financial reconciliation. This position ensures accurate postings, balanced accounts, and a seamless transition into the next business day. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, comfortable working independently, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

What You’ll Do

Guest Service & Front Desk Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, process late check-ins/check-outs, and respond to overnight needs.
  • Manage reservation updates, verify guest information, and ensure accuracy in room assignments.
  • Provide professional and friendly support to guests throughout the night.

Night Audit & Financial Processing

  • Perform nightly reconciliation of room charges, taxes, adjustments, and payments.
  • Balance guest and city ledgers, verify credit card batches, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Run and distribute daily reports, including revenue summaries and occupancy statistics.
  • Close out the day in the Property Management System (PMS).

Safety & Security

  • Monitor property access and follow established overnight security procedures.
  • Conduct scheduled property walks and document any incidents.
  • Support emergency response protocols when needed.

Operational Support

  1. Restock lobby supplies, tidy common areas, and prepare the front desk for morning staff.
  2. Complete detailed shift notes for smooth handoff to the day team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous hotel, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
  • Strong comfort with numbers and basic accounting processes.
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems a plus.
