Night Auditor Position

The Holiday Inn Express in Paso Robles has an immediate opening for a relief part time Night Auditor. This position works from 10pm - 7am, Friday and Saturday nights.

To perform duties as Night Auditor as designated by Manager in a manner assuring maximum guest satisfaction. The Night Auditor is responsible for the integrity of all daily posting transactions in the Hotel Computer System.

JOB FUNCTIONS/SUPPLEMENT TO GUEST SERVICE AGENT FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain accuracy of all daily transactions on PMS.
  • Trouble shooting of computer problems and phone systems. Reporting and resolving of any problems with PMS support. Follow up by reporting problems to Front Office Manager.
  • Nightly clearing and balancing of credit system.
  • Distribution of accurate daily reports to all Department Heads.
  • Maintain integrity of system. Timely running of rebuilds and reorgs. Cleaning of backup drives (as per schedule).
  • Detailed check of in-house guest folios (bucket check).
  • Prudent decision making in guest relations problems and emergency situations while no Manager is on duty.
  • Reports all problems and incidents to General Manager/Assistant General Manager.
  • Contacts General Manager in emergency situations that need to be immediately resolved.
  • Responsible for any walk-ins the event of overbookings as advised by Manager.
  • Other related duties upon request.
  • Sets up early morning coffee.
  • Comply with all Company and Department safety policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous hotel audit experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • To be able to type 30-35 wpm.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
