Job description

Part-Time Rights & Clearances Coordinator

Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States

Responsible for researching and fulfilling requests submitted by producers to acquire third party materials to be used in programming produced by NFL Films. The position includes working closely with our in-house producers, post-production scheduling, media administration, and project managers while acquiring and licensing materials for various projects based on set deadlines and budgets. Coordination includes researching for various photos or footage producers would like to find for possible inclusion in their shows, communicating with the various departments to get the materials through the system and to the producers, following through to finalize and file paperwork (agreements, P.O.'s, invoices, etc.) Must have good communications skills to work with many vendors via phone and email, be extremely organized, and be able to work on many projects at one time with calm composure.

Essential Functions
  • Research and acquire materials to be used in our programming.
  • File and maintain records associated with all research, rights & clearances.
  • Strong administrative and research skills are essential.
  • Must be extremely organized and able to learn and utilize our internal computer systems.
  • Must communicate effectively with all departments.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years of research experience
  • 1-2 years of television production experience
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Post-Production experience
  • Minimum 2 years Rights and Clearances experience
  • Experience using AirTable preferred
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
  • Communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments, individuals, and systems.
  • Able to handle multiple projects, be able to prioritize and meet specific deadlines.
  • Need to be self-motivated and be able to work well independently as much as part of a team.
Supervisory Responsibility
  • Assist with training and mentoring interns when needed.
Physical Demands
  • Handling physical materials such as footage reels, tapes, newspapers, photo albums. Responsible for receiving and delivery the materials through the building.

Salary / Pay Range
