We are looking for a temporary Inventory Analyst for 3 months to help monitor, oversee, and optimize Maesa's North American inventory for all brands, finished goods and components. The role will work to ensure that Maesa has effective inventory reporting processes and the required level of visibility to support delivery of the overall supply chain objectives and KPIs.  

 This role is based in our Manhattan office and requires 3 days per week on-site. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with Supply Planning function to find ways to improve the overall health of inventory including avoidance of out of stocks, excess, and obsolete inventory. 
  • Support the Inventory Controller in performing inventory reconciliation: compare ERP inventory to warehouse records, review transaction logs, instruct physical counts, perform audits. 
  • Liaison with Supply Planning Capability Leads to define & support a governance a process for inventory policy parameter refreshes for brand region and execute it accordingly. 
  • Refine, monitor & mitigate key metrics to measure inventory results and performance; inclusive of: 
  • Summary and conclusion of key "net change" drivers and trends. 
  • Synthesize inventory data and analysis into specific action. 
  • Drive execution of actions for inventory results. 
  • Projecting and translating changes in inventory position and the contribution or impact those changes have on the balance sheet and/or P&L. 
  • Be familiar and proficient in data extraction, handling and consumption. 
  • Support continuous process improvements by generating required analysis, developing analytical & statistical models to resolve/detect escalated performance issues. 
  • Ideate in building initiatives around inventory optimization processes across all brands for finished goods and components. 
  • Accountable for accuracy and completeness of inventory reconciliation for finished goods and components. 
  • Maintain and publish inventory health reports to the business. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or other relevant fields. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years business experience with experience in Logistics, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Inventory Management or appropriate College Degree. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Strong service / support mentality and willingness to help others achieve their result-oriented ambitions. 
  • Ability to understand the performance of the business and what levers should be pulled to drive performance. 
  • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change. 
  • Must have a high degree of self-direction with the ability to constantly seek innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner. 
  • Results-oriented and willing to initiate and nurture change. 
  • Experience in a high-volume consumer goods environment. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage time in a fast-paced work environment.
