About the Team

You will be part of the Digital Marketing team responsible for developing strategies and optimizing William-Sonoma, Inc.'s digital spend across all 9 Brands and International efforts. WSI manages all large digital programs in-house, and this role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely execution for reporting across all digital programs.

About the Role

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Marketing BI (Business Intelligence) Analyst to support reporting, dashboard development, and insight generation for our Digital Marketing teams. In this role, you will help transform marketing data into clear, actionable reporting that enables teams to understand performance and optimize campaigns. You will partner closely with Search, Social, Display, Affiliates, and CRM teams while learning best practices in digital marketing measurement, data modeling, and business intelligence. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is eager to grow their technical skills and business understanding in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with digital marketing teams to understand reporting needs and help translate business questions into data and reporting requirements

  • Build, update, and maintain dashboards and reporting cards in Domo used by digital teams and leadership

  • Write and maintain SQL queries and support basic ETL processes to prepare data for reporting and visualization

  • Assist with onboarding new data sources and maintaining existing connections (e.g., SFTP, API, email-based feeds, or custom connectors)

  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot reporting issues to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Support Domo platform governance by assisting with dashboard certification, user access management, and dashboard organization

  • Create and maintain clear data documentation to help stakeholders understand metrics, definitions, and reports

  • Stay informed on updates to digital marketing platforms, metrics, and measurement best practices

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, or equivalent practical experience

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field (internships and academic projects included)

  • Exposure to digital marketing or advertising analytics concepts

  • Experience using a BI or data visualization tool (Domo preferred; Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar acceptable)

  • Working knowledge of SQL, including writing basic queries and joins

  • Familiarity with data preparation or ETL concepts

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Enjoys collaborating with teammates and learning from others

Preferred: 

  • Exposure to Adobe Analytics or other web analytics platforms

  • Basic understanding of site tagging and tag management tools (Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or similar)

  • Introductory experience working with APIs or data feeds

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data sets

  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and interest in growing a career in marketing analytics

The expected starting pay range for this position is $71,400 - $83,850. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
