Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Web Analyst to analyze digital experiences across websites, applications, and other commerce platforms. Reporting to senior Experience Analytics leadership, the Senior Web Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of web analytics and insights for clients. The Senior Web Analyst will play an important role in helping clients understand digital customer behavior, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Google Analytics/GA4 and Adobe Analytics, along with knowledge of tag management, SQL, data visualization, and business intelligence tools. The Senior Web Analyst will also contribute thought leadership in client meetings and collaborate with internal teams to develop measurement strategies that support business and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Web Analyst
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of website and digital experience performance, trends, and marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as an individual contributor delivering analytics solutions and insights for clients.
  • Develop client-specific measurement strategies, frameworks, KPIs, and measurement plans.
  • Collaborate with Experience Analytics and Commerce Consulting teams to develop analytics roadmaps.
  • Deliver actionable insights and root-cause analysis to support rapid business decision-making.
  • Analyze website data to identify user pain points, feature usage patterns, and conversion drivers.
  • Perform funnel, clickstream, heatmap, segmentation, and other web analytics analyses.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and data transformations using multiple data sources.
  • Utilize visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Ensure website analytics tracking and tag management are properly implemented and accurately reporting.
  • Assess tracking gaps and establish requirements for new or optimized tracking implementations.
  • Partner with Customer Experience, Conversion Rate Optimization, Merchandising, Media, and other teams to develop relevant insights and reporting.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Experience/Skills For The Senior Web Analyst
  • 4+ years of experience in web analytics, digital analytics, or a related analytics role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics/GA4 and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium.
  • Strong understanding of website analytics, measurement strategies, KPIs, and digital customer experiences.
  • Experience performing funnel, clickstream, segmentation, conversion, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
