Position Overview & Schedule
Because we meet our clients where they need us most, this position features variable hours heavily focused on high-demand times:
- Primary Environment: In-school settings.
- Peak Hours: After-school hours and weekends.
- Hours: Variable based on client needs, school schedules, and your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and regular reassessments for clients aged 5–18.
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide high-quality supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or behavior technicians.
- Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and parents to ensure consistency across environments.
- Analyze data frequently to make timely, clinical decisions to advance client progress.
Job Requirements
- Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Licensure: Must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certified to practice in New York State/New York City.
- Travel: Reliable transportation and a willingness to commute between the different boroughs of NYC.
- Background Check: Clear criminal record and willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.
- Experience: Proven experience working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum (experience in school settings is highly preferred).
- Language (Plus): Fluency in Spanish is a major plus, though not required.
