Exciting opportunity to join our team at the Holiday Inn Redding and our new restaurant, Lucenete Cucina, as a Restaurant Server.


Are you a friendly and courteous professional dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional dining experience? You could be an excellent server at our busy restaurant. We need someone with a positive attitude toward customer service and a warm smile to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests at the restaurant by ensuring they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served on time, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Compensation:

$16.50 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
  • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
  • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
  • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
  • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties

Qualifications:
  • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
