As a Process Engineer in our rolling mill operations, you will play a critical role in improving product quality, optimizing processes, and driving operational efficiency in a highly technical manufacturing environment. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams while making a measurable impact on performance and innovation.

Your Role at a Glance

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to resolve process and quality issues
  • Monitor and optimize process variables to improve consistency and reduce variation
  • Lead and support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
  • Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Train and coach operators while capturing critical process knowledge
  • Support plant trials, new process development, and implementation of new technologies
  • Collaborate with R&D, Industrialization, and global process teams
  • Contribute technical expertise to capital projects and equipment upgrades
  • Audit processes to ensure adherence to standards and sustain improvements
  • Participate in benchmarking and technology evaluations
  • Support troubleshooting during operational events, including occasional off-hour support

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials Science, or related field) required
  • 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry preferred
  • Exposure to hot rolling, pipe manufacturing, or metal forming processes is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and process control principles
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, thermal processes, or deformation processes preferred
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and process monitoring systems preferred
