Pay Range: STAFF RN/NEW GRAD - $48.25 to $48.25
Job Summary:
The New Graduate Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNH's policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements. The New Graduate Registered Nurse must successfully complete New Graduate Program within 6 months which is comprised of both clinical and didactic training.
Licensure and Certification:
  • Current California RN license
  • Current BLS provider card
  • MAB certification
  • ACLS and PALS required
  • 14 hours of BRN approved pediatric emergency within 4 months of hire required; or Two day Pediatric Emergency Course preferred (not PALS)

Education:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred

Experience:
  • Prior acute hospital experience preferred

Equipment:
  • All patient care equipment used in primary work assignment setting
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment use and functions of department
