Job description

Restoration Project Manager — Fire & Water Damage

Pinnacle Career Network is recruiting on behalf of an established property damage restoration firm based in Etobicoke. Project work runs across Toronto and east of the city.

This is a full-cycle project management role on insurance restoration files: fire, water and related losses across residential and small-to-medium commercial properties. You will own your files from first inspection through to completion, working alongside an existing project manager.

PLEASE NOTE: this role requires you to have your own vehicle and a valid Ontario G licence from day one. You will be attending losses across Toronto and east of the city, including after-hours emergency response.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Attend losses and complete on-site damage assessments and inspections. Prepare preliminary reports and scopes of work. Write your own estimates in Xactimate and manage files through XactAnalysis. Liaise directly with insurance adjusters, property managers, policyholders and tenants. Select, schedule and manage subtrades, obtain competitive bids and control project budgets. Coordinate in-house technicians and carpenters. Maintain quality control and file timelines to carrier service level agreements. Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.

WHAT YOU NEED

IICRC certification in WRT and FSRT — both required. Working proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis, writing your own scopes rather than handing off to an estimator. Restoration project management experience with an established property damage company. Own vehicle, valid Ontario G licence and a clean driver's abstract. Willingness to consent to a background check at offer stage. Comfortable with after-hours on-call response.

NICE TO HAVE

Additional IICRC certifications — ASD, AMRT, OCT or similar. Experience working to insurance carrier programs. Experience managing rebuild as well as mitigation.

WHAT WE ARE FLEXIBLE ON

Years of experience. Our client cares more about what you can do than how long you have been doing it. If you hold the certifications, write your own estimates and can run a file independently, we want to speak with you — whether that is three years in or fifteen.

COMPENSATION

$85,000 to $105,000 per year depending on experience and capability. Bonus structure discussed at offer stage.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply with your resume, noting your IICRC certifications and Xactimate experience — these are the first things we screen for. All applications treated in confidence. Pinnacle Career Network welcomes applications from all qualified candidates; accommodations available on request.
