Viaero Fiber Networks is seeking a driven Network Project Manager to lead fiber infrastructure projects across Central and Eastern Nebraska. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage teams, vendors, and complex projects from design through completion.

About Us: Viaero Fiber Networks is a leading provider of Fiber Optic Network solutions throughout eastern and southern Colorado, Nebraska and northwestern Kansas, dedicated to delivering high-quality and reliable services to our Carriers, Businesses and Residential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end fiber network projects (engineering, permitting, construction, splicing, testing)
  • Manage timelines, budgets, materials, and resource planning
  • Oversee Construction Supervisors, Field Technicians, and project support staff
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers to keep projects on track
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and compliance
  • Track costs and performance; provide clear status reporting to leadership
  • Respond to network issues and support emergency operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years in fiber optic construction/telecom, with 3+ years in leadership
  • Strong knowledge of fiber network design, build, and maintenance
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple teams
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools
  • PMP (preferred)

Requirements

  • OSHA 10 (required); OSHA 30 & Confined Space (within 90 days)
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening
  • Ability to work extended hours and respond to emergencies
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs.
