Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Manager (Networking) in Mesa, AZ. The Project Manager (Networking) is a lead member of the operations team responsible for driving the delivery of various network infrastructure and cabling projects. This role requires a balance of project management, customer engagement, and operational leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate has significant experience in telecommunications or construction management, particularly with large-scale mission-critical projects.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for effective project management and delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects within a particular site.
  • Develop program schedules and establish key milestones for delivery ensuring all financial and schedule targets are met.
  • Monitor and report on project performance using key performance indicators, forecasting, and financial tracking.
  • Identify and acquire all resources required, revising as appropriate to meet changing project needs and requirements.
  • Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including the preparation of invoices and periodic financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery of systems and installations.
  • Act as the primary Company liaison for customer interface, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and addressing escalations.
  • Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Mentor and coach partnering Project Managers to enhance their overall development and skillset.
  • Evaluate materials and products for constructability and feasibility during the pre-construction phase.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of supervisory or managerial experience in a technical or construction field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related networking environment.
  • Proven experience project managing large and complex projects valued at over $1M.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with formal scheduling Gantt chart tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
  • Demonstrated ability to define project scopes, develop detailed tasks, and manage projects to final completion.
  • Strong understanding of project tracking metrics and contract administration.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards.
  • May be exposed to heights and loud noises on job sites.
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending.
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
