Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our client's PMO and support IT infrastructure projects for our banking industry client in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of IT project management experience with 3 years of IT Infrastructure project management. This position will require strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
What will you do:
  • Manage the planning, execution, and completion of IT infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and IT departments to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and ensuring milestones are met within deadlines.
  • Maintain project plans, status reports, and documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to facilitate infrastructure setup, network connectivity, and system migrations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in financial services or banking.
  • 3 years of IT infrastructure project management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking
