Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for their project based in Wayne County, MI.

Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Wayne County, MI-Onsite

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: develop detailed project plans, define scope, set timelines, and manage project budget technology initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks.
  • Serve as primary point of contact between project team, stakeholders, vendors and leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards, obtain approval of and track exceptions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including work plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate training and support for end-users of new systems or applications.
  • Perform related duties as directed.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of IT concepts, software development, web technologies, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide teams, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Three (3) years working as a Project Manager with at least one (1) year in technology
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) OR five (5) years working as a Project Manager with at least two (2) years in technology
  • Proficiency in structuring and administering Microsoft Teams channels, files, and permissions.

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. OR
