This is a new and exciting opening at PureLogic!

Job purpose: The Professional Services Project Manager plays a key role in supporting the evaluation, planning, and delivery of client technology solutions. Working closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, the Implementation Team, and clients, this role contributes to the technical evaluation stage of the sales process by acting as a trusted advisor and helping identify and address client technology requirements.

As part of the Professional Services team, the Professional Services Project Manager leads client-facing IT solution implementations and is responsible for the successful delivery of projects from initiation through completion. This includes coordinating internal resources, facilitating communication between stakeholders, identifying and resolving technical and operational challenges, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

This position is a billable project delivery role responsible for contributing to Professional Services revenue through effective project management and successful technology deployments. The Professional Services Project Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees the implementation of client IT solutions, including infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and business application technologies, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities / Activities

Project Delivery & Implementation

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of client IT implementation projects, including infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and business application solutions.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate internal technical resources and external vendors to ensure successful solution deployment.
  • Ensure projects transition smoothly from sales to implementation and through to project completion and client acceptance.
  • Manage manufacturer-led or third-party implementation engagements as required.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead internal and client-facing project meetings, including project kick-offs, status updates, risk reviews, and project closeout meetings.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to internal stakeholders and client leadership.

Project Planning & Governance

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, scope changes, and resource constraints.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project change requests and ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
  • Prepare project reports, documentation, and status updates for stakeholders.

Professional Services Delivery & Billable Utilization

  • Deliver billable Professional Services through effective project leadership and client solution implementations.
  • Track project hours against budget and ensure accurate time entry and project reporting.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services leadership to support resource planning, utilization targets, and project profitability.
  • Support the preparation of Statements of Work (SOW), project estimates, and implementation plans.
  • Assist with project invoicing validation and coordination with Finance to ensure accurate billing.

Presales & Technical Solution Support

  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Engineers during the sales process to support solution design and project planning.
  • Provide input into project scope, timelines, and resource requirements during the proposal and quoting stages.
  • Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and solution discussions when required.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and PureLogic product offerings to support client solution delivery.

Skills and Attributes

  • College or University diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models).
  • Proven experience managing client-facing technology implementation projects within a Professional Services, consulting, or IT services environment.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and business application implementations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings, facilitate project discussions, and present technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation and project tracking capabilities.
  • Experience developing project plans, schedules, and implementation documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with project management tools and platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Monday, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar) is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
  • Experience with process documentation, workflow development, and operational improvements is an asset.
