Job description

Manager, Regional Business Optimization & Customer Implementation

The Manager, Regional Business Optimization & Customer Implementation is responsible for managing assigned customer onboarding projects, ensuring operational readiness and smooth transition into DP World's European freight forwarding services. The role focuses on the execution of implementation plans, coordination of stakeholders, and ensuring customer requirements are met within defined scope and timelines.

The position can be based in Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands or Hungary.

How You Will Contribute

Customer Implementation Management

  • Manage assigned customer implementation projects from contract award through go-live.
  • Execute detailed implementation plans, aligned with contractual and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal functions (operations, IT, commercial, GSC) to deliver on customer needs.
  • Support system integration activities (EDI/API), testing, and validation
  • Document SOPs, process flows, and reporting for assigned accounts.

Project Management

  • Monitor timelines and milestones for assigned projects.
  • Track and report project progress, highlighting risks and issues for escalation.
  • Provide end-of-project documentation, including lessons learned and recommendations.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify process issues within assigned projects and suggest improvements.
  • Support automation and digitization initiatives in collaboration with IT and operations.

Training and Development

  • Deliver training to DP World branches, customers, and suppliers on project-related systems and processes.
  • Ensure operational teams are prepared to manage accounts post go-live.
Your Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with proven exposure to customer implementation or project execution.
  • Experience in managing projects or customer accounts, ideally within an international logistics environment.
  • Solid understanding of freight forwarding processes and operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with EDI and API integration standards and supply chain visibility tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in process documentation, SOP preparation, and project reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Salary range Poland: PLN142,210 – PLN226,200,000 per year*
