We are seeking a dedicated EH&S Coordinator with maintenance leadership skills to join our team and contribute to our mission of ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Position Summary: The EH&S Coordinator with Maintenance Leadership is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs while also providing leadership and support for the maintenance operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing EH&S training, and leading a maintenance team to uphold equipment reliability and facility upkeep.


Position Summary: The EH&S Coordinator with Maintenance Leadership is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs while also providing leadership and support for the maintenance operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing EH&S training, and leading a maintenance team to uphold equipment reliability and facility upkeep.


Requirements:

 EH&S Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EH&S policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

• Provide EH&S training and education to employees, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

• Monitor and report on EH&S performance metrics and maintain relevant documentation and records.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and oversee waste management and hazardous material handling.

• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.


Maintenance Leadership Responsibilities:

• Liaise with external maintenance contractors and work alongside internal maintenance managers to ensure maintenance duties are performed timely

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for CNC machines and other equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

• Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance and implement improvements.

• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks and repairs.

• Create work orders, and purchase orders when necessary to ensure continuity of service.


Qualifications:

• Certification in EH&S (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred.

• Proven experience in EH&S roles with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and best practices.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment management.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
