Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Consultant to join our team remotely and help drive regulatory compliance, system optimization, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP EHS modules, strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations, and the ability to effectively support business stakeholders in designing and implementing compliant, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP EHS functional specifications
  • Design, configure, and implement SAP EHS solutions to support regulatory compliance and business operations
  • Integrate SAP EHS with other SAP and third-party systems as required
  • Perform functional testing, resolve issues, and ensure system quality and performance
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to drive adoption and self-sufficiency
  • Stay current on regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, REACH, GHS) and ensure solution alignment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, safety, and compliance

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP EHS modules (Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of global environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in system configuration, data analysis, and integration best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; experience in a client-facing or consulting environment is preferred
  • Ability to lead requirements workshops, create functional documentation, and guide testing cycles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP Certification in EHS or related module
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment
  • Knowledge of Incident Management and Risk Assessment tools
