Reporting Relationship: Account Coordinator for Special Programs
Unit: National & Global
Department: Student Account Services - IWU National & Global
Campus Location: This position is 2 days onsite either in Marion, IN or Merrillville, IN and 3 days remote hybrid schedule.
Summary of Position: The account representative for special programs will assist the Account Coordinator in all aspects of serving students who have applied to or enrolled in special programs, including processing class starts, reviewing payment reports, and managing account balances.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Guide international students through the class start process, providing practical assistance as necessary
  • Calculate and communicate final balances prior to graduation for students in special programs
  • Evaluate reports for third-party payments according to established guidelines
  • Communicate with international students regularly via phone, Salesforce, and Teams
  • Evaluate account status for students in special programs and implement past due procedures as needed
  • Serve student needs during residencies either virtually or in-person
  • Other duties as assigned by Coordinator or other management

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
  • Associates degree required or work equivalent

  • Bookkeeping desired
