Company Description
Exposition Development Company, Inc. (EDC) is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution, maintenance and reporting of marketing programs in respect to the SPTechCon event portfolio as well as providing assistance on other events as needed. This role will also execute aspects of demand and lead generation activities, lead nurturing, Social media, conversion programs and marketing automation campaigns. This role will report to the SPTechCon Event Director and the COO.

Job Description
  • Maintain and update front end of the SPTechCon website with new created content, media/press updates, and work with third party vendors to main and update backend functionality.
  • Continue to hone and improve our conversion strategies and execution to drive high quality Leads and website traffic.
  • Oversees the implementation and tracking of multimedia projects, including but not limited to digital ads, PPC, sponsored post, retargeting.
  • Support revenue growth to existing customers by developing a proactive action plan for engagement through digital marketing and marketing automation campaigns
  • Creates emails, landing pages, forms, nurturing programs and reports
  • Perform A/B testing on all campaigns and program
  • Collaborate with Event Director for appropriate content delivery based on customer (attendee and sponsor) journey to drive revenue
  • Manage, coordinate and execute the design, content, layout and distribution of printed promotional literature (printed and electronic) including but not limited to: exhibitor brochures; postcards; attendee pieces/brochures; advertisements; banners; fact sheets; invitations; etc.
  • Manage, coordinate and execute all required direct mail campaigns.
  • Manage, coordinate and execute the design, layout and production of various forms and contracts including but not limited to: exhibitor contracts; registration forms; sponsorship menus/forms, etc.
  • Maintain rigid standards of perfection and accuracy for all materials produced.
  • Be creative, and continually strive to elevate the performance and message of all our marketing pieces.
  • Research and select photographs used in promotional pieces including the development of key visuals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required - Marketing, Communications or Business
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Analytical marketing background which includes multi-channel campaign development, tracking and ROI measurement
  • Experience with processes that drive conversions
  • The candidate must also have strong email marketing, social media, editing, copywriting and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and programming languages such as HTML
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability and commitment to work collaboratively across internal and external teams
  • Highly motivated self-starter leader willing to push themselves and their team toward goal achievement
  • Experience with the tradeshow and/or technology industries, but not required
