Job Title: Multimedia Specialist


Groovy Plants Ranch exists to be a plant oasis full of botanical oddities for everyone to experience. We want all who visit to feel welcomed, comfortable asking questions, and to enjoy their time here. GPR is more than a store; it is an imaginative plant experience. We provide plants in all categories that are both expected favorites and hard to find or unusual. Groovyplantsranch.com exists to translate the GPR experience online and provide high quality plants to customers in all 50 states.


About the Role

This role is responsible for capturing, creating, and editing highly engaging visual content that brings The Groovy Plants Ranch experience to life across our digital and social media channels. The Multimedia Specialist will lead our short-form video production and photography efforts, ensuring a consistent, vibrant, and authentic Groovy voice that resonates with our community of plant lovers.

The Multimedia Specialist will work as part of our marketing team and will take operational ownership of our content pipeline—from conceptualizing ideas and shooting on-site to final editing and scheduling social media posts. The ideal candidate will seamlessly balance creative storytelling with a structured production workflow to meet consistent publishing deadlines.

What We’re looking for

We are seeking a highly creative and visually driven individual who has a passion for digital storytelling and community engagement. The right candidate will:

  • Possess strong, proven experience in creating engaging short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and professional photography.
  • Be highly proficient in modern video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Lightroom, or advanced mobile-first editing apps).
  • Have a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Have a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines and managing content timetables.
  • A person who Is highly motivated and will work collaboratively as part of our team to present a cohesive vision


What you’ll do

Content Creation & Video Production

  • Concept, shoot, and edit high-impact, short-form videos daily to highlight our unique plant inventory, educational tips, and Ranch events.
  • Capture high-quality photography of plants, merchandise, Guest experiences, events, and The Ranch landscape for website and promotional use.
  • Stay on top of emerging marketing and social media trends and formats to keep GPR content fresh and relevant.


Editing & Visual Quality

  • Edit raw footage and photos into polished, on-brand digital assets, maintaining high standards for color correction, audio quality, and pacing.
  • Organize and maintain a clean digital asset library of photos and footage for future marketing needs.


Social Media & Strategy

  • Manage daily publishing schedules and coordinate engagement across all core social media platforms.
  • Monitor community comments, questions, and messages to foster a welcoming online experience that matches our on-site atmosphere.


Production Workflow & Timetable Management

  • Maintain a structured content calendar, ensuring all production milestones are met on time.
  • Collaborate with leadership and our existing marketing team to align multimedia projects with upcoming product arrivals, seasonal shifts, and major weekend festivals.
