Job description

The Project Manager/Estimator to support our client's Foundations division based out of Rogers, MN. This role is built for someone with a background in earth retention systems, deep foundation systems, specialty concrete or foundations who understands how to bid, win, and run work in environments that don’t always go according to plan. You’ll take ownership from preconstruction through completion, leading projects while working closely with field crews, clients, and internal teams.


Requirements -

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business or similar work experience
  • Ability to use computer programs: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, Viewpoint Vista and HCSS construction software is preferred .
  • 5 or more years background in earth retention systems, deep foundation systems, specialty concrete or foundations experience

What You’ll Do -

  • Seeks out/completes bid opportunities through client relationships, networking opportunities, public/private postings, assigned bid opportunities, and various other means.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with current clients; responsible for creating relationships with potential future clients.
  • Estimates projects for bid submittal by reviewing plans and specifications, calculating quantities, gathering quotes and submittals, constructing the bid, and creating the bid submittal.
  • Coordinates pre-construction meetings for projects awarded to ensure communication and coordination between project managers, field, and office support. Works with operations staff to coordinate appropriate construction methods and staffing needs
