Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, or 8:00am-5:00pm.
Description:
A Logistics Coordinator oversees rail and container operations, plans loads, tracks shipments, and secures carrier capacity. They communicate with customers and teams, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient, reliable, and timely logistics.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
  • Plan and organize rail and container operations to ensure equipment availability, customer appointments, and accurate load schedules.
  • Track shipments, monitor ETAs, and ensure timely pickup, delivery, and ingate to rail.
  • Source and negotiate carrier rates, balancing service quality and profitability goals.
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, and rail partners to provide updates, resolve delays, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment, billing, and equipment issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Update internal systems with accurate load, billing, and carrier data to maintain organized and compliant records.

Who You Are (Education and Experience):
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with logistics management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear
  • Constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
