Job description

Job Title: House Manager & Family Assistant

Location: Newport Coast, CA 92657

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Schedule: TuesdaySunday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (with flexibility for weekends and travel)

Compensation: $33-38/hour based on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:
  • Maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Must have a valid U.S. passport (ability to travel domestically and internationally)
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experienced swimmer with ability to supervise children at the pool.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For:

You are a proactive, warm, and adaptable individual who can take initiative while maintaining a professional and positive attitude. You have experience with children, particularly in the early years, and understand the importance of early childhood development, especially for toddlers and early school-age children. You are capable of collaborating on meal prep or cooking independently for the family, ensuring meals are nutritious, easy to prepare, and aligned with the family's preferences. You bring a tech-savvy mindset, are comfortable navigating technology for tasks, driving, and managing family expectations in order to ensure the household runs smoothly through technology.

With strong attention to detail, you take pride in supporting home organization and performing daily resets to ensure the household remains tidy and welcoming. You're highly organized and intuitive, able to anticipate the family's needs and adapt to their ever-changing schedules. You are comfortable with the responsibility of managing routines and staying on top of daily tasks, especially as the children transition to school. You will collaborate closely with the mom and provide personal assistance where needed, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

You are someone who is self-directed, takes ownership of your responsibilities, and is open to feedback and personal growth as you help maintain the flow of a dynamic family household.

  • Weekly Pick-ups/drop-offs and support with transport to school and activities (dance, music classes, etc.) as needed
