Modular Home Sales Representative

Full‐Time | On‐Site | Residential Modular and Mobile Home Dealer

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally, motivated smiling face to add to our team, who is knowledgeable, yet, willing to learn.  Our Modular Home Sales Representative will be the person our customers are excited to speak with to help guide them through the full process of purchasing a modular home or mobile (double or singlewide) home — from initial inquiry, model selection, customization, financing coordination, and site‐prep planning, through final delivery and setup. This role requires strong communication skills (without hesitation), attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active client projects at once.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Sales
    • Greet and assist walk‐in customers, online inquiries, and phone leads, prequalify customers
    • Explain modular home models, mobile home models (both double and singlewide) floorplans, customization options, and pricing
    • Provide confident, accurate quotes, upgrade options, and delivery timelines
    • Complete sales contracts, review details with customers and ACCURATELY answer all questions and/or go the extra mile to do some research and follow-up with clients within 24-48 hours
    • Maintain active follow‐up with leads to close sales
    • Continuously update customers with project status and document communication

Project Coordination

    • Coordinate with lenders, appraisers, and title companies for financing and closing
    • Track the status of your customers dream home from beginning to end, keep them informed, ensure all paperwork is complete.
    • Constantly communicate with the project manager and other team members to try and prevent possible issues

Documentation & Compliance

    • Prepare sales contracts, purchase agreements, and change orders
    • Ensure all customer files are complete and compliant with state and local regulations

Customer Support

    • Guide customers through the entire building process, answering questions and providing updates
    • Resolve issues quickly and professionally
    • Ensure a smooth and positive customer experience from start to finish

Qualifications

  • Stay positive in your position, conflicts rarely develop with a smiling face that has the best communication skills.
  • Experience in modular homes, manufactured homes, real estate, or basic construction processes preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, we want an energetic sale rep that GOES AFTER THE SALE VS WAITING FOR THE SALE TO FIND YOU.
  • Willing to communicate thoughts with the team to explore promotional opportunities
  • Ability to read floorplans and understand basic construction terminology
  • Organized, detail‐oriented, and able to manage multiple active projects
  • Comfortable working with contracts and financing documents
  • Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturdays until 1pm.
  • Computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license
