Job Overview

Flourish Preservation LLC is a premier property preservation and maintenance firm specializing in servicing occupied residential properties. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing field operations team. In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair essential residential appliances and mechanical systems across our rental and managed property portfolios.

The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy troubleshooter who values efficiency, professional communication, and high-quality workmanship in occupied spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair major residential appliances, including electric ranges, ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators (with heavy emphasis on Frigidaire and Kenmore models).
  • Climate & Heating Maintenance: Assist with basic servicing and troubleshooting of residential climate systems, including mini-splits, boilers, and furnaces.
  • Occupied Property Care: Conduct repairs cleanly and professionally inside occupied homes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
  • Digital Work Order Management: Use mobile platforms like AppFolio, Property Preservation Wizard (PPW), and Pruvan to log repair notes, submit before-and-after photos, and track completed jobs in real time.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with our in-house work order processor and operations manager to ensure parts are ordered accurately and jobs are completed within required timeframes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in residential appliance repair or property maintenance.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Frigidaire and Kenmore appliances; basic knowledge of HVAC, boiler, or furnace systems is a major plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing smart devices and property management software (AppFolio, PPW, Pruvan) to manage a daily workflow.
  • Tools & Transport: Must have a reliable vehicle and a standard set of diagnostic and hand tools required for appliance repair.
  • Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset when interacting with tenants and remote coordinators.
  • Clearances: Ability to pass a standard background check for entering occupied properties.
