Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Automotive Lot Attendant to

manage the parking lot and vehicles at our dealership. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for moving vehicles around the lot, ensuring proper organization and

cleanliness, and assisting with vehicle tracking and documentation. The Lot Attendant will

also play a key role in maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow for vehicle deliveries,

customer test drives, and overall lot operations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Vehicle Movement & Positioning: Regularly move vehicles around the lot to

optimize space, including positioning new arrivals, moving sold cars to the delivery

area, and relocating vehicles for customer test drives.

 Vehicle Tracking & Documentation: Keep track of all vehicles on the lot, verifying

details like VIN numbers, condition, and reporting any discrepancies to the

appropriate personnel.

 Lot Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the

parking lot by removing debris, trash, and ensuring that vehicles are properly

positioned and arranged.

 Vehicle Inspections: Inspect vehicles for any damage upon arrival and departure,

document any issues, and report them to the appropriate personnel to ensure

accurate records.

 Key Management: Securely store and distribute vehicle keys as needed to sta????,

ensuring proper tracking and accountability.

Compliance & Safety:

 Ensure compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

 Adhere to safety procedures while driving and parking vehicles on the lot, following

all company guidelines.

 Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring a positive

customer experience.

Requirements:

 Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable

driving record.

 Driving Record Verification: Must authorize the company to obtain driving records

for verification purposes.

 Team Player: Friendly, congenial, and willing to work collaboratively with a diverse

team.

 Attention to Detail: Ability to understand and follow instructions carefully while
