Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE
Candidate will support assigned service calls for 5-6 retail stores within a geographical area. Will be responsible for troubleshooting repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial RTUs and split systems as well as general maintenance related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, roofing, etc. Company vehicle, gas card, tools, IPad, and IPhone will be provided.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes' maintenance and repairs, records as required.
- Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to finish the tasks. Uses CMMS to manage work orders and track completion.
- Leads troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: HVAC, plumbing systems, roofs, drains.
- Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
- Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
- Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.
- Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
- Performs furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
- Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks
- Possess necessary skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck
- Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.
- Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications
- Uses computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, and training.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The minimum salary for the Mobile Engineer position is $56,160 annually [or $27.00 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Mobile Service Engineer position is $68,640 annually [or $33.00 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
