Job description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Mobile Locker, you will:

  • Set up and maintain physical servers and switches in data center environments. If you don't have extensive hands on experience with self hosted physical infrastructure and you do not live in or are legally able to work in Belgium currently, please do not apply for this position!
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
  • Manage and optimize infrastructure across Linux-based environments.
  • Automate configuration, provisioning, and deployments with Ansible and Proxmox.
  • Work with Docker (and automated container orchestration) to build secure and scalable environments.
  • Ensure system reliability, observability, and monitoring using industry standardized tools
  • Collaborate closely with the lead architect and developers to enable efficient and consistent delivery.
  • Improve infrastructure security and compliance practices.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions regarding scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by researching and adopting modern DevOps tools and methodologies.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
  • Proficiency with Docker and containerization concepts.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management (Ansible or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and scalability principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
