The Opportunity:

Ziff Davis Shopping is looking for a talented React Native Mobile Engineer I to help us bring the next generation of RetailMeNot’s mobile experience to life. You’ll join a smart, collaborative team of mobile engineers as we take on adding new features to our app, reimagining the entire proposition, launching new product experiences, and shaping how millions of users discover savings every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feature Development: Developing and maintaining features and bug fixes for our React Native app on iOS and Android under the guidance of senior team members
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers to build a best-in-class app experience
  • User Experience: Implementing engaging product experiences that add real value for our users
  • Code Quality: Writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and assisting with testing to ensure high-quality functionality before releases
  • Modern Practices: Learning and adopting established coding standards and utilizing our CI/CD pipelines
  • Continuous Learning: Staying curious and up to date with the latest innovations and trends in the mobile app ecosystem
Job Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience with React Native development using TypeScript/JavaScript (open to strong internship experience or personal portfolios)
  • Familiarity with the React Native ecosystem, including basic knowledge of app components, state management, and debugging
  • Ability to implement Figma designs into functional, clean mobile interfaces
  • Exposure to modern mobile tooling (e.g., Expo, basic Git workflows) and an eagerness to learn native development and CI/CD workflows

Compensation Range

Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $90,000 to $100,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
