Overview
The Senior Military Personnel Support Specialist (MILPERS) provides military personnel administration and executive support to U.S. Space Force and national security space organizations.
Responsibilities
Military Personnel Administration
  • Provide senior-level military personnel support for officer and enlisted personnel actions.
  • Process and track evaluations, awards, decorations, fitness reports, assignment actions, and personnel record updates.
  • Support in-processing, out-processing, PCS coordination, readiness tracking, and duty status reporting.
  • Maintain personnel trackers, suspense systems, and organizational manning reports.

Executive & Organizational Support
  • Coordinate scheduling, meetings, task tracking, and leadership reporting activities.
  • Prepare executive correspondence, memoranda, reports, and briefing materials.
  • Coordinate with military personnel centers, servicing organizations, and external mission partners.
  • Maintain records management compliance for military personnel documentation.

Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Department of the Air Force, and U.S. Space Force guidance.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on workflow efficiency and accountability.
  • Handle sensitive personnel and operational information with discretion and professionalism.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000/Year, DOE

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting military personnel administration or related DoD personnel operations
  • Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or joint military organizations.
  • Familiarity with military personnel processes, evaluations, awards, readiness reporting, and administrative workflows.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and task management skills.
