Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Savannah, GA, for a DFAC Manager at Hunter Army Airfield. The DFAC Manager will oversee daily operations with a hands-on approach to food production with a lead by example approach. While DFAC (Dining Facility) experience with Army Regulations is helpful, experience within culinary and food service management is most important. Army regulations will be trained. .

Qualifications

  • Food Service and Culinary Management - 5 years
  • Leadership and team management skills, with a focus on staff supervision and development. DFAC has approximately 10 to 13 Cooks per shift.
  • Proficiency in operational coordination, including scheduling, inventory management, and performance optimization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster professional interactions with staff and customers
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food service standards
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure

US Citizen – Clean Background.

Full Time, Permanent

Pay - $74,000 per year

Avg Work Week - 45 to 50 hours per week.

This position is a ground level position with ECI at Hunter Army Airfield and offers great opportunity for growth.
