School SecretaryImmediate Supervisor: PrincipalJob Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentSpecific Duties:1. Prepare purchase orders, bills, and claims for payment from all board or school funds according to Redbook regulations. 2.

Prepare monthly and annual financial reports of the school budgets.3. Maintain school budgets, accounts, and other financial duties as needed.4. Assist students, parents, visitors, and staff.5

Order supplies as needed.6. Assist with incoming/outgoing telephone calls and correspondence.7. Maintain forms and files.8

Make copies as needed.9. Assist principal in maintaining procedures per the student handbook and office policies.10. Make daily announcements.11

Enter and maintain student information into Infinite Campus and produce any reports as needed.12. Assist the guidance counselor in maintaining student cumulative files.13. Assist with records requests when needed.14

Monitor student office workers.15. Maintain daily substitute/employee absence verification records and submit them to central office payroll by the 5th and 20th of each month.16. Distribute prescription medications and administer first aid to students when the school nurse is unavailable.17

Assist students/parents with accident reports and school insurance.18. Assist the athletic director and principal with ticket sales, referees, and deposits for athletic events (grades 6-12). 19

Monitor the bus radio after school hours (K-5).20. Perform other duties assigned by the principal or superintendent.
