We're expanding nationally and continue to provide rewarding opportunities for educators across the country.Full Time | Competitive Pay - Up to $65/hr based on experienceYOUR IMPACTThe Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students in Grades 1–3 and Grades 6–8 within Wilmington Public Schools, located approximately 18 miles from Boston. There are two opportunities available: a Moderate Special Education Teacher position serving middle school students in Grades 6–8, and a position in the Stepping Stones program at Shawsheen School serving elementary students in Grades 1–3. Both roles run Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction, conducting academic evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, monitoring and assessing student progress, and collaborating with educators and families to support students’ academic and social growth. The ideal candidate is a Massachusetts-licensed Special Education Teacher with a Moderate license who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification
  • Eligible to teach in MA through DESE
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • Designs & delivers individualized instruction for students with disabilities
  • Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development
  • Classroom experience MondayFriday, structured setting
  • Experience with students who are nonverbal, on the autism spectrum, prone to tantrums, runners, or wheelchairbound preferred
