POSITION SPECIFICS

The Global Teach Ag Network is seeking a Program Specialist to develop, deliver, manage and evaluate the Global Teach Ag Network portfolio of educator professional development programs from conception to evaluation.

This position will provide program coordination and technical assistance to a digital community of practice comprised of external stakeholders focused on food security and international agriculture. This position will develop and maintain relationships with external partners, organizations, industry and agencies. They will supervise undergraduate interns to create marketing materials for educational programs; as well as prepare and submit project reports.

Duties:

  • Develop, deliver, manage and evaluate the Global Teach Ag Network portfolio of educator professional development programs from conception to evaluation. These programs are focused on topics related to food security, international agriculture, and global learning in agriculture.

  • Program coordination and technical assistance to a digital community of practice comprised of external stakeholders.

  • A working knowledge of best practices for cultivating a digital community, community moderation, and program implementation skills in the Mighty Networks digital platform.

  • Supervise undergraduate interns to create marketing materials for educational programs.

  • Mentor undergraduate interns in best practices in the creation of materials, including the use of digital software tools such as Adobe Express and the development of communication that conveys key points to stakeholder audiences.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, organizations, industry and agencies.

  • Assist with program evaluation and creation of program evaluation executive summary statements.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $54,060.00 - $78,444.00.
