This position is under the direct supervision of the Food Service Manager. The individual in this position is responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of meals. Assists the Food Service Manager with the receiving and storing of deliveries; places perishable items into refrigerator/freezer. Maintains kitchen equipment and cleanliness in accordance with sanitation and safe food handling procedures; assists with maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents and team members.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Current hands-on CPR Certification.
  • Servsafe Certification preferred by not required
  • Must have a clear background screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to read and write English
