Job description

Position Summary Segment HR is recruiting six (6) experienced Medical Coders to provide remote inpatient and outpatient coding support for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center and its affiliated clinics. The selected coders will review complete electronic medical records, assign and validate accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, identify incomplete or conflicting documentation, submit compliant provider queries, and support the facility in reducing its medical-coding backlog. This is an experienced, production-level coding position. The base-pay range is: $34–$39 per hour Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, directly relevant experience, systems proficiency, and approved remote work location. Benefits and any applicable fringe-benefit package will be explained by the employing federal contractor during the offer process.
