Job Overview:

Pay Range: $63.25hr - $68.25hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience in project schedule development and management practices.
  • Knowledge of project managementย methodologiesย and software development methodologies.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Project Professional, Project Server, Project Web App (PWA), SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across stakeholders, vendors, project managers, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience:

  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in PMO responsibilities, including project governance, project execution, schedule and scope management, change management, configuration management, issue management, and risk management.
  • 2โ€“3 yearsย of planning, scheduling, reporting, project metrics, and resource management experience.
  • 2โ€“3 years of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) planning experience.
  • 2โ€“3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: 3โ€“5 years of experience with Microsoft Project Server/Project Web App (PWA).
  • Preferred: 3โ€“5 years of experience with Agile Software Development Methodology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PMO in managing all aspects of the project, with a focus on creating and maintaining the project schedule.
  • Collect project schedule updates and apply changes to the master project schedule.
  • Create and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure linkage to the project schedule.
  • Manage schedule development and maintenance activities for internal projects.
  • Ensure vendors follow documented schedule management best practices.
  • Oversee vendor schedule management activities and verify compliance with approved processes.
  • Produce weekly schedule metrics, including schedule variance and earned value reporting.
  • Analyze and manage project critical paths and identified tasks requiring close monitoring.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze project metrics and reports.
  • Prepare, facilitate, document, and manage project schedule meetings.
  • Provide weekly and monthly project reporting and resource forecasting.
  • Assist project team leads with schedule decomposition, estimation, and resource planning.
  • Review project schedules and support team members in understanding assigned activities.
  • Manage project risks, issues, action items, and related reporting.
