Job description

Job Title:   Senior IT Project Manager (Security Focused) 
Location: Newton, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 3-Month Contract-to-HireVisa: Open to all but no EADs and H1B 
  • Experience implementing SSO’s and experience with IAM projects
  • Experience developing/maturing PMO ops systems
  • Leading process-oriented initiatives
  • Leading infra/ITSM related initiatives
Must-Have Skills
  • Project & Program Management: 3+ years as Scrum Master/Project Manager, handling full project lifecycle (Agile + Waterfall).

  • Agile Expertise: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, sprint/release planning.

  • SSO & IAM Experience: Hands-on experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects.

  • ITSM & Infrastructure Initiatives: Proven track record managing IT service management or infrastructure-related programs.

  • PMO/Process Development: Experience maturing or implementing project management office (PMO) operations and processes.

  • Tools: Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.

  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent facilitation, stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, and cross-functional team leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field
  • 3 years Experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager Total
  • 5 years of IT specific experience
  • Experience Implementing project management systems or tools

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Accelerator implementations highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of IT project planning and management experience, preferably within a technology department or organization with experience in the following areas:
  • Full project lifecycle in both traditional and agile modes from conception to production, managing all aspects of solution delivery including inception, scope definition, business case development and approval, resource planning, requirements gathering through development and deployment, budget management, status reporting, and risk management.
  • Leadership - Leading, motivating and guiding a cross-functional workgroup
  • Methodology and Tools - Experience Agile delivery methodology and delivery tools: and Agile Boards and competency with Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Project
  • Communication - Good facilitation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to all functional groups, translating technical requirements and issues into appropriate business context.
  • Vendor Management - Some experience delivering projects with vendors
  • Self-Direction - Able to work with minimal supervision with a global, cross functional team
  • Certifications - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP),
