Job description

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support a strategic initiative for a client in the renewable energy sector in Reno, Nevada. This Contract position is expected to run for 3–4 months, with the possibility of extension based on project demands and overall progress. The person in this role will help keep schedules current, maintain alignment across teams, and provide consistent coordination so key deliverables move forward on time.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project to support daily execution and long-term planning.
• Monitor milestones, deadlines, and deliverables closely, and raise timing risks when issues could affect progress.
• Organize meetings, distribute updates, and follow through on action items to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Prepare regular status summaries for project leadership, highlighting progress, priorities, and any emerging concerns.
• Support planning activities by maintaining documentation, coordinating logistics, and handling project-related administrative tasks.
• Work with team members and leaders across different locations to promote clear communication and consistent project coordination.
• Review schedules for conflicts or gaps and escalate concerns promptly to help prevent delays.
• Keep project records accurate, organized, and current, including scanned files and supporting documentation as needed.• Prior experience in a project coordination, project administration, or comparable project support role.
• Strong practical experience using Microsoft Project for scheduling and timeline management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, milestones, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to provide clear written updates and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling documentation and project records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience supporting construction projects or similar deadline-driven initiatives is preferred.
