EFTEC is a global leader in automotive adhesives, sealants, coatings, and lightweight materials, supplying innovative solutions to leading automotive OEMs around the world.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead new product launch programs from quotation through Start of Production (SOP).

As a Project Manager, you will lead multiple customer programs simultaneously from commercial opportunity through production launch.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead new automotive product launch programs from quotation through SOP.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate APQP and PPAP activities to ensure customer and internal requirements are achieved.
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones remain on schedule.
  • Identify project risks early and develop recovery plans before they impact customer commitments.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings with internal teams and OEM customers.
  • Coordinate activities between Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
  • Track project budgets, timing, deliverables, and overall project health.
  • Escalate issues appropriately while presenting practical solutions and recovery plans.
  • Ensure projects comply with customer requirements, APQP methodology, and internal stage-gate processes.
  • Support launch readiness activities and customer production approvals.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting using Microsoft Project, Salesforce, and other project management tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with APQP and PPAP.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
  • Experience within the adhesives, sealants, coatings, or specialty chemicals industry.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
