Applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Applies specific functional , working, and general industry knowledge . Develop s or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and reviews or guides activities of junior employees.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with microscopes, imaging systems, and develop ing or optimizing analysis techniques
  • Experience with dual beam FIB-SEM and equipment to prepare samples for analysis
  • Experience with Xray CT systems
  • Experience with Confocal Scanning Acoustic Microscopy ( C-SAM )
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with performing functional and para met ric custom IC test article evaluation using automated testbench develop ment in LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Labview, TestStand, MATLAB, C, C++, Python, or TCL
  • Experience with industry standards, such as JEDEC, MIL-STD, or AEC reliability practices and RF and high-temperature electronics reliability testing
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability analyses, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis ( FMEA ) , step-stress, high-temperature accelerated life, and operational life testing, wafer testing with DC and RF supply, physical and electrical failure analysis, including thermal CW and transient imaging, X-ray, electroluminescence, and Scanning Electron Microscope ( SEM )
  • Knowledge of semic ond uctor physics and degradation mechanisms in GaN, SiC, and CMOS devices
  • Ability to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a client-service mindset, seek out solutions, and deliver value within uncertain and evolving project environments
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in an engineering field such as Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
