We are seeking a dedicated microscopist to operate advanced microscopy equipment, including 3D laser scanning microscopes, to assist our manufacturing team in recording sensor data. The role involves assembling, cataloging, imaging, and preparing biosensors for evaluation and maintaining equipment by preparing and calibrating microscopes as needed. This position requires a meticulous approach to incoming inspections and quality control processes, with responsibilities including repetitive tasks and pass/fail assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain advanced microscopy equipment, including 3D laser scanning microscopes.
  • Assist the manufacturing team in recording sensor data and preparing biosensors for evaluation.
  • Assemble, catalog, and image biosensors for testing purposes.
  • Prepare solutions for various testing activities.
  • Perform incoming inspections and quality control assessments.
  • Engage in repetitive tasks involving pass/fail assessments of parts.
Essential Skills
  • Previous experience operating a microscope in various environments.
  • Strong quality assurance and inspection skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
