Summary:


The Microbiology Analyst is responsible for performing microbiological testing activities and supporting on-site quality control operations in accordance with company policies and food safety standards. This role includes conducting routine microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring, and assisting with quality inspections throughout the production process.

The position also involves maintaining laboratory and inspection records, supporting GMP, SQF and HACCP compliance, monitoring sanitation and hygiene conditions, and reporting any microbiological or quality-related issues identified during operations. The Microbiology Analyst will work closely with the Quality team to help ensure product consistency, food safety, and adherence to company specifications.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


The Microbiology Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and swab sampling
  • Prepare microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory supplies
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and testing documentation
  • Support on-site quality inspections during production operations
  • Monitor product appearance, packaging condition, and labeling accuracy
  • Assist with GMP, sanitation, and food safety compliance activities
  • Identify and report microbiological or quality-related concerns
  • Support internal audits and corrective action activities as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory and work areas
  • Documentation of inspection results and escalation of non-conformance issues
  • Production line quality inspection and in-process quality checks
  • Support for hold/release, corrective actions, and audit readiness as needed
  • GMP, sanitation, hygiene, and food safety compliance monitoring



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or a related field preferred
  • Laboratory, food manufacturing, or quality assurance experience preferred
  • Entry-level candidates with strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply
  • Basic understanding of GMP, HACCP, or food safety systems preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (Korean ,English)
