The Senior Global Product Marketing Manager- Microbiology is responsible for setting the global marketing vision and strategy, orchestrating new product launch excellence, strengthening brand awareness, and translating customer and market insights into campaign development and execution that accelerates growth across regions

This position reports to the Director of Global Product Marketing Hematology, Urinalysis & Microbiology and is part of the and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Define and execute the global marketing strategy for the microbiology portfolio, grounded in deep understanding of clinical microbiology workflows, customer pain points, and competitive landscapes to drive differentiated positioning and sustainable growth initiatives.
  • Lead global launch planning and execution for new microbiology assays, instruments, software, and services, including value proposition development, messaging, pricing support, and coordinated regional rollouts across all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Own global market mapping and segmentation across microbiology customer segments and geographies to inform targeting, messaging, and integrated lead generation programs that accelerate pipeline creation and conversion.
  • Strengthen global microbiology brand awareness and credibility through strategic infectious disease and laboratory medicine tradeshow leadership, congress planning, and scientific storytelling, ensuring consistent brand expression and impactful presence across global and regional events.
  • Manage and develop a Global Product Marketing Manager for Microbiology, providing clear priorities, coaching, and performance feedback to strengthen execution and professional growth.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in life science/biotechnology or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 10+ years, or a doctoral degree with 8+ years.
  • Work experience in the in vitro diagnostic, life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to move between strategic thinking and tactical execution with ease
  • Demonstrated track record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution with clear ownership of outcomes and measurable results.
  • Proficiency in succinctly conveying strategy and tactics to a broad spectrum of leaders, including executive staff. Demonstrates adeptness in communication and influencing across all organizational levels.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including some international travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Sales, Marketing, or Product Management expertise in clinical microbiology products.
  • Understanding of laboratory medicine personas and the clinical laboratory environment.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams

The annual salary range for this role is $145,000 - $175,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
