Job Summary:
TEKFORTUNE INC is a fast-growing consulting firm specialized in staffing services for leading organizations. They are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer with strong Micro Focus experience to develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based applications in a collaborative onsite setting.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and support COBOL applications using Micro Focus COBOL.
• Analyze existing legacy systems and implement enhancements or bug fixes.
• Participate in system design, coding, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and documentation.
• Support production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and infrastructure teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• COBOL Developer with strong Micro Focus experience
• hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing COBOL-based applications in a Micro Focus environment
