Job description

Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts): Will work to develop automation and testing data-as-a-service products and large data management products/platforms and will lead by example with efficient technical problem-solving, effective design, and high-quality code, and will mentor others using their technical knowledge and experience. Specific duties of the position include: Design and develop automation framework, scripting, execution and report files using Automation tools MicroFocus UFTOne, Selenium Eclipse IDE, TOSCA, Auto IT, Robot, HP QC/ALM,SQL and VB Scripting, Java, Oracle, SQL Database application, HTML, Xpath, Jenkins for web based and client server and mainframe applications; Lead Test execution, framework design and management activities using agile methodology; Manage end to end project activities in Jira, Xray test management tool; Effort estimate, tracking, reporting and troubleshooting errors; Research high level design for automation framework development, planning and test strategy preparation; Perform Lead Quality Management activities, such as test scenarios walk-through, automation and daily status reporting; Recommend technologies and tools in this phase based on client requirements; Be involved with full cycle testing including functional testing, system testing, integration testing, performance and stress testing; Be involved in all phases of software application design, development and testing; Provide the test estimation efforts required for the scope as per project plan and provide the report documents; Evaluate and analyze user requirements and prepared master test strategy for application test development; Perform work estimation; monitored and controlled project deliverables using RTC tool; Document the test results and log defects in Jira/Xray as per agile play book standards; Coordinate and conduct client meeting to provide project updates; Automated regression suite execution, maintenance and defect management. Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field; plus 5 years of experience in IT developing data solutions. Total experience above must include the following (can be gained concurrently): 5 years of experience designing and developing automation framework, scripting, execution and report files using Automation tools HP/MicroFocus UFTOne 12.53/QTP, Selenium Eclipse IDE, TOSCA, Auto IT, Robot, HP QC/ALM, SQL and VB Scripting. Must also have: Proven experience automating Java, Database applications, HTML, Xpath, Jenkins for web-based, client server and mainframe financial applications; Proven ability to track, report and troubleshoot errors; Proven experience researching high level design for Automation framework development and Planning and Test Strategy preparation; Proven ability to work effectively with business, development, QA and automation engineers to analyze the ongoing business requirements from stakeholders; Proven ability and experience with agile methodologies, automation framework and technical tools; Proven ability to troubleshoot various framework issues/problems occurring in test execution, regression in UAT and PROD environments; and Demonstrated knowledge in Banking web and mainframe applications automation. Salary Range:

$178,131 - $195,944 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
