  • 8 to 10 Yrs of experience in the Mainframe & Java Modernization space.
  • The Candidate has experience in understanding the requirements for the Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration.
  • The tech stack used is Java FSD, Python, Mainframe technologies(COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS,MQ) and Webservices, EXTRIVE, SORT etc as mandatory, The Candidate has experience and worked on the Mainframe Modernization in migration On-Prem to On-Prem, Cloud Migration to Azure, Migration to Microfocus.
  • Strong in triaging production issues using all the basic tools in Mainframe.
  • Knowing Java/distributed solutions will be super plus Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
  • Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Business Requirement Specification documentation and experience of working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in PL/1 , JCL, DB2 and CICS , Webservices, EXTRIVE, SORT VSAM mandatory Secondary skills required COBOL, changeman tool, SQL Designing, Coding, Unit Testing, Debugging Object oriented principles and best practices Ability to work independently
