Description


FRS Transportation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for a full-time Dispatcher position. This role is responsible for answering calls and coordinating transportation services for Highland, Brown, and Adams counties. The ideal candidate is organized, able to handle a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Schedule and dispatch transportation requests efficiently
  • Communicate with drivers to coordinate daily operations
  • Maintain accurate records using dispatch software and Microsoft Office
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • Manage multiple tasks and interruptions with professionalism and accuracy

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
  • Strong typing, data entry, and basic math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Experience handling confidential information in accordance with HIPAA
  • Ability to work with difficult individuals or situations in a calm, respectful manner
  • Previous dispatch experience is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a BCI/FBI background check
  • Must pass a drug screening
